Ballet Initiative

 Ballet INITIATIVE is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise the profile of dance in the Saint Louis community through preservation, promotion and the presentation of affordable exposure and access to quality ballet. We teach students to dance, help them excel in dance and educate the public about ballet in an effort to help sustain the art form for generations to come. Ballet INITIATIVE strives to make the art of ballet accessible, understood, supported and enjoyed by our community.

Ballet Initiative Summer Intensive

June 5-16, 2017


Join us for the 2017 BI Summer Intensive and see for yourself why our intensive is a favorite amongst students and faculty alike. Classes will include ballet, pointe, variations, modern, jazz, character, Pilates and ballet history. Past faculty has included Alicia Graf Mack, Jennifer Welch Cudnik, Ellen Costanza, Stephen Hanna, Keith Williams and Shannon West. The intensive will be held at the beautiful studios at Lindenwood University. 

Applicants should be between the ages of 12-19yrs. Some exceptions may be made. There are still spots available for the intensive. Please don't hesitate to email the Director if you have any questions. 

One week tuition is $365. Two week tuition is $615. Attending two weeks of the Intensive is strongly encouraged for optimum benefit and growth. 

To enroll, please go to the Registration page and fill out your information. The second step of enrolling is to go to the Tuition page and submit payment. Students will not be enrolled unless payment has been submitted.
